Michelle built DesignCase with 15 years of experience at her back, scores of awards, and a mission to push clients to think beyond the property line. Her firm works with real estate developers, government organizations, and businesses to identify what and how they will contribute to the communities they are in, with a unique look at the return on investment for both client and community.
Warmth, collaboration, and thoughtful human-centered design are the common threads that connect Michelle's 100 plus hospitality projects to her work with non-profits and social impact organizations. Her full-service design firm focuses on architecture, interior design, and impact design as both advocate and architect.
Sommer's love for architecture evolved from information architecture to interior architecture. After undergrad at Hampton University, obtaining a BS in Computer Science and spending years in management consulting she decided to mesh the structure of the tech world with her love of the built environment around us.
Sommer's work is as versatile as she is, encompassing residential and commercial interiors, but she very much enjoys the complexity of commercial spaces, especially hospitality. Sommer additionally holds an MFA in Interior Architecture & Design from The George Washington University.
Junior Interior Designer
Molly loves the juxtaposition of the beautiful and unexpected. She started her education in English Lit and never abandoned her love of the complexity of a good narrative--now she applies it to interior design.
She derives inspiration from many schools of thought. For her, learning and exploration of any new subject can spark ideas that lead to design solutions. She always searches for design details that feel unique to the project at hand. Molly graduated from The George Washington University with an MFA in Interior Architecture & Design.
